Splitsmith ("the app", "we", "us") is an on-device fitness race predictor. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. In short: the app runs on your device, has no user accounts, and does not collect your training data.
Everything you enter — your race setup, station bests, run pace, logged sessions, saved scenarios, and app settings (such as language) — is stored locally on your device using the app's on-device database. We do not operate servers for this data, we cannot see it, and it is never transmitted to us or to any third party. This data is removed when you uninstall the app or clear the app's storage from your device settings.
If you choose to buy Splitsmith Pro, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing and managed by our payment-infrastructure service provider, RevenueCat, Inc. To deliver and restore your purchase, RevenueCat collects your purchase history associated with an app-generated anonymous identifier (not your name, email, or a device advertising ID). This information is encrypted in transit and used solely to unlock and verify your Pro entitlement, restore purchases you have already made, and prevent fraudulent transactions.
We do not receive your Google account name, email address, or payment-card details from this process. See the providers' own privacy policies:
Local data: uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove all on-device data. Purchase records held by our payment providers: you can request deletion of the purchase data associated with your anonymous identifier by emailing flyingwithpan@gmail.com. Note that providers may retain certain transaction records where required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance.
Splitsmith is intended for a general adult fitness audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
